Thighber Monday Campaign on Instagram

 

Chubbies Shorts an online retailer for Menswear gathered a huge response in July with Julyber Monday. Chubbies ran a remarketing campaign “Fourth of Julyber Monday”, encouraging visitors to return to the website to claim a gift. The company used retargeting platform AdRoll to send out messages encouraging customers to visit the Chubbies web site the next day for a chance to win one of 12 gifts being handed out each hour. In addition to the remarketing campaign Chubbies ran Facebook and Twitter campaigns in News Feed and promoted Tweets.

Chubbies shorts prepared with the results from the test is the first with Instagram Campaign calling it Thighber Monday.

The results from the campaign were encouraging in July for the retailer with an estimated increase in conversion rate of 4.6 percent and an increase of 35.5 percent return on investment.

  • Cyber Monday 2013 was the single biggest day for e-commerce sales for U.S. based Internet retailers, according to comScore. Cyber Monday 2013 sales were $1.735 billion, which represents an 18.4% increase compared to 2012.
  • Mobile devices were used to make 17% of Cyber Monday 2013 purchases, which is an increase of 55.4% compared to sales that originated from mobile devices on Cyber Monday 2012, the IBM Benchmark reported.
